More bad news

The good news was that we had the money to pay storage this month. The bad news we just got on the phone--somebody cut the locks off of 25 units, including ours, and stole valuables and tossed junk into the hall.

So now, without a car, we have to find a ride down there to survey the damage and try to claim any of our belongings that were thrown haphazardly in with other people's stuff.

We're guessing the TV near the door would be first to go. No big loss. But Kai's guitar amp was near the door, too. That's probably gone. We'll just have to cross our fingers that it's not too bad.

A few years back, we lost a lot of stuff in a flood. I guess our luck hasn't changed any, yet.
