No HTML!

Kipper thoughtfully includes Markdown PHP Extra, so you don't have to write HTML in your source files, if you don't want to. Markdown PHP gives you shorthand notations for making lists, tables, and much more.

You still have to write HTML in your template. No getting around that. But for quick content, Markdown PHP is a big timesaver.

How does it work? It's automatic if you don't use the most common tags, <p> and <br>. If Kipper sees these tags in your code, it assumes that Markdown PHP is not needed.

The least you need to know when using Markdown PHP is that you don't have to use HTML tags to break lines. Just skip an extra space between paragraphs. For more guidance, visit Markdown PHP.
